Mayor Amick gives local school tour of City Hall
May 4, 2021 (Scottsburg) – The City of Scottsburg is proud to have hosted Grace Christian Academy at City Hall to learn about local government, meet some of the departments and even get a seat at the Mayor’s desk. Throughout the morning the students, who recently created their own mock city, got to tour City Hall and ask questions about government and learn what some of the departments do day in and day out. Scottsburg is proud to see the youth as respectable individuals that were polite, kind, and inquisitive during the tour.
Scottsburg is bringing up the youth right – and these students, their parents, and teachers should be proud to have them in our City of Scottsburg because THEY are our FUTURE!
